Good Weather for Plein Air Painting

Finally some sunny cool weather that is good for painting outside.  It’s amazing how the sun and light contribute to a painting as you look at subjects outside rather than in photos.  The paintings that result are very different.  I love it!  Here are three recent paintings done with the Monday Painters Group from the Artists Guild.  We paint locally in different spots each week, weather permitting.  It’s great fun to paint with others and the critique sessions at the end are always useful.
